24 April 18 - Planing a Team Building or Enrichment Day this summer?

During the year we get lots of enquiries for ideas from people planning special days for a variety of groups including, schools, companies, volunteer groups, or other social groups of all types. Each group have very specific requirements for the day and some limitations. These limitations include restricted space to hold the event, remote locations, or individuales physical limitations.

So I have tried to give a few ideas in an effort to help you plan an effective, rewarding ad beneficial day for all participants. All the items Iwill mention are available to book online from this site. The is a multiple item discount that will be applied for booking more than one item (see the special offer page for details). But remember always give us a call for further advise, suggestions and package prices.

I will start with the most common and Iguess most obvious items, inflatables. Obstacle Courses are always a firm favorite and are great for including a large group of participant with limited time, so for a school year group for example. The is also the Walk Tubes, these are newly introduced in 2018 in answer to this very request for items that several people can experience with limited time to do so. The idea is a team of ideally 4 to 6 people site astrid each of the tubes, holding a strap in front of them. Then to prepall the tube forward over set distance against a fellow team. In order to achieve this everyone on the tube needs to coordinate their actions! As you can imagine a team without clear and strong leadership has hilarious consequences making equally fun for those participating and spectating!

Other inflatable ideas are generally individual / knockout challenges, also being equally as competitive and great fun to both participate and spectate . They can also be used to build a great knockout competition. Ideas include, the Gladiators Dual, Bugee Run or Soccer Pool yes! Football played by two people with football sized Pool balls and an inflatable table complete with pockets.

Moving away from inflatables and think of individuals that may not be so physically competitive, or where space is restricted or budgets slightly more limited. That said these idea are also a great add on to the inflatables or even to to give something for those that prefer thinking to solve a problem!

Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4 are always a challenge for the quick thinkers in the team, and the is no power requirement so great for those remote locations. moving on to other knockout challenge ideas our Stick a Light table is a great challenge and always gets the spectators cheering as well! While maybe not so impressive for spectators but ever popular table football is always a favorite, especially later in the day when all the energy has been spent on the Obstacle Course! One other idea for that chill out time is our Classic Arcade Games table. Featuring a great selection of the early computer games that weeither remember personally or for the younger ones in the team an opertunity to experience computer games as their parents first knew them!

They always say save the best till last, so one last great idea for a team challenge or changing the subject slightly also great for a fun fundraising event. Our traditional wooden Skittle Ally. This makes for a fun and relaxing knockout challenge and well as once again being fun for those watching or even waiting there turn to bowl.

While I fully appreciate every day has its own aims and goals as well as challenges. I really hope this short article has give you some ideas to start working on but please do give me call, I am always happy to try and help with so of the other many ideas. It is also worth mentioning if you planning day and the location you have is a little off the beaten track we do also offer genrator hire to support our equipment.
